Ticklish Allsorts, Salisbury’s premium children’s entertainment company, professional since 1981, have a vacancy for a young actor / actress / performer to work part- time on occasional weekends this coming summer.

Our specialty is the Traditional Punch and Judy Show and we require a “front man” who can act a bit, sing a bit, talk to puppets and likes children. This is a good opportunity to experience touring theatre, learn some valuable acting lessons and get well paid as well. It would suit drama students as over the years, I have employed many of them – some now famous – from local theatres and BTEC courses.

Costume, help with transport and training will be given.  Click here for more info

Please contact Gary Nunn 07721 992994 or email garynunn@ntlworld.com for an initial meeting or for more information check see the rest of our website.

Hello from Ticklish Allsorts

Welcome to our website!

Ticklish Allsorts was founded in 1981 by multi talented performer Gary Nunn. We are a professional comedy children’s entertainment company and we are versatile, exciting, musical, colourful, energetic, funny, modest and sometimes available.

I devise all the shows myself and need to be “hands on” with my audience and to work up front with them, getting them to do as much work as I do. Our shows are really built on audience participation. Ticklish Allsorts are completely children friendly and we work with them not “at” them.

I work solo as Mr Tickles providing a crazy walkabout character, who plays the guitar, uses songs, stories, puppets, props, silly stunts and lots of laughter. With an Art College background, I have over the years also provided countless arts and crafts projects and workshops. When I am allowed to play with grownups, it is much the same – sometimes as a witty and charming Barn Dance Caller, occasional pub folk singer, sometimes as Lord Chamberlain at medieval banquets. I have been known to compere, officiate, laugh, sing, tell many jokes, organise and waffle.

When I work with Ticklish Allsorts, I have a talented team of young actors who join me and we do the above but even more so! There can be as many as four of us on bigger occasions. We are great fun and have played to thousands of people of all ages  at every possible occasion when families gather together.

We have one of the best traditional Punch and Judy shows available anywhere.
