Wilton, near Salisbury in Wiltshire, boasts the tallest living Christmas Tree in Europe, right in the middle of the town in the Market Square. Each year there is a magical ceremony of switching on the lights and this year it will be on Monday 5th December from 5.30pm. See poster.
Afterwards, from about 8.00pm there will be a Christmas sing-along with myself and lots of friends at The Bear in West Street, where half the population come along and sing their hearts out to welcome in Christmas. Free event.
